In March 2021, volunteer instructors of first aid from the Irish Red Cross in Limerick will give a talk covering a variety of first aid principles as outlined below. This talk, which you can attend from the comfort of your own home, is ideal for those who which to refresh their first aid knowledge or for those who wish to learn the core concepts of first aid before undertaking a full first aid course.
Topics to be covered include:
- First aid and safety principles
- How to treat a bleed
- How to manage an unresponsive patient
- What do if someone starts choking
As well as this we will give a brief insight into our volunteer-led and community-based organisation for those interested. Certificates of Attendance will be issued to all those who attend!
